Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge and Giveaway

Hi and welcome to the Artist Team Challenge and  a GIVEAWAY! You should have come here from the Club Scrap Blog and did you see the fantastic job Karen did!!!

Todays challenge was  to create Artist Trading Cards or a Pocket Letters which are very popular right now. ATCs are 2.5 x 3.5 inch pieces of artwork...the size of a playing card or sports trading card. The idea of creating nine ATCs to fit into a Pocket Trading Card Protector and mailing it to a friend became the “Pocket Letter”.

I heard a little about Pocket letters but after researching them, I became hooked! Here is a great link from the lady that started Pocket Letters - Janette Lane. But first here is a look at this months Club Scrap kit Office Space, which gave me the inspiration to do a pocket letter!

ALSO, since Club Scrap has been so generous to me I thought it was time to pay it forward. One lucky winner who leaves me a comment and tells me what you like best about Club Scrap will win this pocket letter. (Also let me know if you are interested in winning this!) You will receive all the goodies and I will throw in some other Club Scrap items to use in your own Office Space creation! I will draw the name around August 11th, so be sure to check back here on my blog for the winner.

So I started off trying to think of what items to put in my pocket pages, and I found tons of ideas in the Club Scrap store! Here is a list of what I came up with.
Wood, washi, tickets, felt, stickers, puffy patches, charms, buttons, keys, silk tassels, ribbons, brads, paper clips, tags, bling, gems, beads, pearls, post it notes, mini frames, flair, enamel dots, foil, twine, envelopes (with the letter inside), flowers,  metal, clothespins, templates, chipboard, canvas shapes, acrylic pieces, rub-on's, banners, sequins, die cuts, mini ruler, mini hangers, doily, bottle caps, eyelets, fabric, fibers, stamps, paper umbrellas. I have also seen food items such as small candies (like a mini Hershey bar), tea bags, stick of gum.

Here is the front and back of my pocket letter. I have so many embellishments on this I will show close-ups below of some of the rows.
This is my favorite, I have Recollections flowers and Club Scrap Washi from other kits and the post it notes from the Office Space kit.
As with all pocket letters you add a letter note to the person you are sending it to. Here I took felt buttons from Dahlia kit to add to the envelope that was in the Office Space kit.

Just three cute quotes,  I added the metal ruler from the Office space kit

Here I made a retro stencil to include in the letter, the ribbon is from Club Scrap.

This has tons of embellishments, twine, buttons, brads and in the center I made see thru pocket (although you can't see thru it anymore!) stuffed with lots of ephemera, clips, brads, buttons, etc.

Here are just some of the products Used:
