Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge

Hello, Today is the Club Scrap Team Challenge! You should have came here from Club ScrapAugust means “back to school” for many households, so we though it would be fun to incorporate that theme into the August challenge. So, I created these four items that would be great for just appreciating a teacher anytime of the year!

The first is a card I created. I tied the lip balm on by punching two holes through the card and tying it with twine. I also ran a strip of tape along the back of the lip balm just to help support the weight.

Next I took a bag one of the cute little bags from Club Scrap and added the saying "Happy First Day! Looking forward to a great years! From: " by printing on white cardstock. This could be filled with small things for the teacher like candy, tea bags, pencils, erasers, etc.

Here is what I always called an apple pie box, but I think they are really called puffy boxes. I found a template for the puffy box here.
I used a piece of paper from the Club Scrap Sunflower kit, decorated it simply by adding a cutout and ribbon from the kit. On the journal card I added  Sunflowers Sparkle Stickers, to add more shine!

Last I made a post it holder with a happy quote next to it. It also has room to hold a writing instrument such as Office Space Lite Metallic Jade Pen, which works really well with the Sunflower kit!

To make the this is cut a piece of cardboard 6 1/2 x 6 1/2, scored from the top at 1/2 inch and 2 inches. At the bottom I scored 1/4. The top I fold backwards to make it stand up a little and the bottom score is folded forward to hold a pen. The paper I made 6 1/2 x 7 and scored the top the same but the is scored at 3/4. The extra paper at the bottom can be trimmed or folded backwards. You can't see it in the above picture, but I added washi tape on the bottom fold for extra support, and it looks pretty!

Products Used:
Misc stickers and Burts Bees lip balm, post it notes.

Thanks for stopping by today.

These are super-cute and very clever ideas! Love them all, but my fave has got to be the lip balm gift. Who wouldn't love that?
