Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge December

Happy Holiday everyone! Welcome to Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge hop. You should have come here from the Club Scrap Blog and saw what a great job Karen did!. The challenge was to do one of the member-run challenges on the Club Scrap forum. So I chose Loreedfk challenge, which was:

Create a double page layout using ONE of the following options.
1. Create a double page layout following the SHADES OF WINTER layout idea recipe card (available to kit members only).
2. Create any double page layout using the SHADES OF WINTER kit.
3. Create a double page layout from ANY kit that has something to do with winter, snow, Christmas, etc.. NOTE: You’re not limited to these ideas; these are merely suggestions to kick start your imagination.
4. Create a double page layout using any CS materials (at least 50%) which utilizes the SHADES OF WINTER color palette.

So I actually used all for ideas from above, very easy since the Shades of Winter Deluxe kit fit all of them! First lets take a look at the kit! Pretty awesome~!

Here is the layout I created using the layout recipe.

Of course using the recipe doesn't mean you can't spice it up! I added the awesome glitter brads that were in the kit.

\
Also instead of using two squares above the horizontal picture I used on square and adorned the pretty silver tags.

For the title I cut out the title using Greeting to Go Snowflakes and the blue and ivory text weight metallic sheen paper. I love this paper, has such an awesome shine to it! A tip for anyone using the Silhouette to cut this paper, I used the Velumn setting and set my blade at two. Worked perfectly for me!

As you can see I really love those  Greeting to Go Snowflakes! I used them to decorate the papers along with some of the cutouts.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great holiday!!!!
