Today I made a Jacob's Ladder mini album and box using the tutorial from Club Scrap. Tricia makes it so fun to do with her easy to follow video seen here!
In my spare time (lol) I made a digital layout using the Club Scrap Digital Succulent Kit.
Here is all you get in the digital kit! See the flower paper in the upper left hand corner, that is what I used for my background paper. In photoshop I started with a 500x500 pixel blank sheet and then pasted a square section of the flower section onto my sheet. Because the digital kits pixels are higher normally I would reduce the size, but I liked the way it looked so I just left it at that, and shrunk all my other images.
Next is the Jacob's Ladder and box. The lid I wrapped in ribbon and added a flower and used some faux bead to make the leaves. On the other side which does not show up to clearly on this photo I added a white feather. The flower on the Jacob's ladder has some added charms.
All the sections of the ladder are represented in these pictures. A lot of the sections have pull out tabs (which I pulled out) that so that both sides can hold a photo or two, a cutout or journaling
I intent to add photo's of my grandmother who loved flowers, so on the bottom card I stenciled her initials on the card using the Club Scrap Uppercase Stencils, which are totally awesome! I can see me using these in the future all the time! They also sell Lowercase Stencils here!
That's it for me today folks, be sure to stop by and see what Kelly at Serendipity & Whimsy has in store!
