My Paper House Mini Album

This mini album was actually a flip album from Paper House, that I tore apart (more on that later) The cover I used a large bottle cap and some3-d stickers.

For the center of the cover I started the center and added a shadowbox with sand and shells, but then I went crazy around that and put more shells, glued sand around added some beads and some fishermans netting.I also stained the bottlecap with blue ink

Side view of the bottlecap
For the side of the album I added some twine, and anchor charm, a seashell with a "pearl: and a small bottle filled with itsy bitsy shells and sand.

I had to have some to keep the book closed so I simply took a piece of twine and made a round circle large enough to fit around the bottlecap.

The album was made from this which I won from Scrapbook.com last year along with other items from Paper House! SO COOL! The album I carefully separated the frame apart so that became my front and back of the album. The flip part was on the inside. Then I used the packaging and cut it to make two inner pages using the side of the package for the frame. Wish I took pictures, but at the time I didn't know how it was going to turn out.

Inside of the book has a fold out and pull out pictures.

The two center pages was the flip album packaging repurposed!

The two center pages have pull out pictures as well.

By adding a sheet of cardstock to the packaging I was able to create the pockets that hold  4x6 pictures.

One of the pull out pictures has journaling the uses the word never FORGET

Thanks for looking and as always I love reading your comments.

What a creative way to preserve all those memories. She is going to love it. I love how it's compact, and yet holds so many photos. Great job repurposing the packaging material. The way you've made the title page brings the beach to mind right away. Well done. TFS with us at CSI.
