Club Scrap December Blog Hop

Hi, Welcome to the December blog hop for Club Scrap. You should have came here from Tricia Morris's blog. Today I created a two page layout using the December kit called Navigation. This kit just screamed Pirates for me!

Page 1

I used some netting in the corner and added some gold coins (Buttons) I used black cardstock and cut out a big Mickeys head and used the metal embellishment from the kit and adhered it in the middle.

.

Page 2

Again using the netting and buttons in the lower corner. This time I used the metal embellishment to adorn the journaling card. Along the bottom I used a strip of paper and ran ribbon along it.

Both pages

For the title work, I wanted to make a pirates map so I wet the paper and used a pen to roll the paper over. I inked the edges with brown and black to give it a antique look. I cut out letters from the Silhouette and used a chipboard skull for the letter O. I love the way this turned out!

Products Used:
Club Scrap December Navigation Kit
chipboard pieces
buttons
netting
brown and black ink

I love your Pirate Layouts. Absolutely great! I've done two such layouts in the past for grandchildren for whom I hosted pirate parties. I must say I have never been able to find netting for my layouts!! Where ever did you get it?? Denise Freeman
