Club Scrap Artist Team Challenge Blog Hop

Welcome the Club Scrap Team Challenge Blog Hop! This is your first stop after seeing what a wonderful job Karen did for Club Scrap!

Today I made this gift for my granddaughter using the Club Scrap Deluxe Literature kit. She LOVES to read and part of her school work this year is for her to keep track of books she has read. Luckily her birthday is soon and I can give it to her.

The first thing I did to make the book was to cover the 2 of the report card envelopes with the white paper in the kit that is precut and fit perfectly on the envelopes.

I punched a hole where the tab was, don't worry about it being off center, it is getting covered later.

I scored the envelopes, one at 5 inches from the bottom and the other 6 inches from the bottom.

Then I went and started decorating, there were so many awesome cutout in the kit and I used almost all of them embellishing. The flaps open up and I added some cards for some journaling my granddaughter can write about the books.

The library card I figured she can list all the books she read and the dates she completed them.

On this page,a gain the flaps open up for more journaling, Of course you can make a photo album out of the as well, with lots of pockets. The small envelope I scored it 1/4 inch from the bottom and then glued that 1/4 inch part on the page.

As you can see the envelope gives more journaling! On the left side she can write all about her favorite books she read this year!

The envelope I punch a hole and added the book charm and a little ribbon, helps keep the flap down.

This last page I added the book marker from the kit, she can use it when she is reading.

Again in the middle I added another flap with some quotes from the cutouts. The right side also has a fold up for additional journaling. This time I scored the top and added three more pages to journal.

Here is the kit with the awesome retro report card envelopes and library cards!

All products were from the
except for the brown ink from Ranger.

Thanks for stopping by and your next stop is the wonderful team artist Lisa!

What a neat idea - I might have to create this for my book club to track our reading! TFS!
