Delft Kit from Club Scrap

Hello today I would like to share a layout using the Club Scrap Delft Collection. This kit seemed very feminine to me I guess because of the flowers, but I like to challenge myself, so I wanted to make a masculine layout using the kit. So I got out paints, ink and my distress tool and went to work and created this.

My first step was to use the Delft Cracked Porcelain Stencil. On the left I used cardstock and ink to create the background. Then splattered on some paint, and dabbed yellow ink here and there. I got really messy! On the right I took my Club Scrap box, and tore away some of the paper, but not all, to expose the corrugated cardboard underneath. Using the stencil and navy blue paint I dabbed on the paint making sure to get the grooves. Actually I wasn't sure this was going to work so that is why I only ripped away part of the top layer, but I like how it looked so I just kept that piece.

Then because I am so messy when I scrap, I laid my dirty stencil on a piece of paper and look when I pick up the stencil this was made,  I like it!

I used a Bo Bunny trim with some screen door mesh here to get more of a manly look.

Some gears and more mesh. I love pulling out all my metal pieces and see what I can find.

Here is an arrow that was gold colored and I used the Club Scrap Color Me Happy Metallic Paint Pen to make it silver colored. I've done this several times and it works great on everything.

Other products used, Recollections metal pieces, Kaisercraft Scrapyard, and  brads.

That's all for now folks, thanks for stopping by.
