Club Scrap Moroccan Spice Blog Hop

Hi everyone, welcome to the Club Scrap blog hop. You should have come here from the talented Janet Moran's blog, Dishing with Janet.
Today I would like to share with you a layout I did using the Moroccan Spice kit, and what better kind of layout than one with pictures of Morocco, in Epcot at Walt Disney World that is! The architecture in Morocco is so unique so to begin with I cut the patterned paper to represent the entrance to a building in Morocco.  On the bottom I creating a border using  camel, a building and palm tree and welding them together on my Silhouette Cameo.

I cut out a genie lamp from my Silhouette Cameo and using the fiber included in the kit I made "smoke" coming out of the lamp. I love how the fuzzy fiber gives the appearance of  hazy smoke.

On the picture below I wanted to show how I added Shimmering Mist to the plain orange/gold paper.  I love how the gold embellishment reminds me of the sun blazing in the desert!

Here is a picture of the all the yummy products in the Moroccan Spice kit!

Next stop on the blog hop is Hetty Sanders blog Craft Chaos, see what this amazing talented crafter has in store for you!

Thanks for stopping by, and all comments are appreciated, I read everyone!

Love the whole thing . . . especially how you thought to trim the printed paper like a Moroccan "doorway". The die cut accents are a great addition, too!
