Club Scrap Literature Kit

Hi all, today I would like to share a layout I did using Club Scrap's Literature Kit. Combining both the Lite and Deluxe kit I used a lot of layering. And if you aren't sure how to do layering I will go through my process down below. The first thing I did was add a border in photoshop and made the photograph sepia color. I think it looks great with the kit.

I took the Kraft paper and added stencils from the Literature Lite Filigree Corner Stencil and randomly stamped.

*  I enhanced the photos below to try to show the different layers and on all of my papers I distressed and inked the edges.

Next I took a patterned piece of paper adding ribbon on the left and right edges.

Cutting down some more patterned paper I layered them in the center.

Last thing in layering, I used mostly ribbon I cut different lengths from all the ribbon and started layering them about 3/4 of the way from the top layer. Also used Paris Flea Market Lite Vintage Lace Washi Tape tearing that into small strips.

Add a photo and title and some embellishments and there you have it! I did end up adding some more layering with the Literature Lite Mini Postage Stickers and more patterened paper, but you get the idea. This is a great way to use up scraps and leftovers from a kit!
