Club Scrap Paris Flea Market Challenge

Hello and welcome to this month's Artist Team Challenge for Club Scrap. You should have came here from the Club Scrap blog, and saw what the very talented Karen has done with this challenge! Isn't it just awesome? This kit is just super elegant and gorgeous, and wait till you see what all the Artist Team Members created, you will just be so excited to go out and order this kit if you haven't already!

The team had to create a project that demonstrates AT LEAST three fresh/unique ways to use either the White Die Cuts or Paper Lace Mats, so I chose the lace mats, but I couldn't stop at just three, I kept finding new ways to use these mats. Now I have tons of embellishments made ready for some projects, and you will see below one of those projects. But first let me show you what I did with the lace mats. First I made an umbrella (directions below) and a flower vase.

First thing I knew I wanted to  make an umbrella for the lace mats. I cut the mat ...

and folded

Next a  border.....

And another type of border...

Another way to use the border...

A transparency could be used as a project life project ....

An envelope love the look of this one! ...

Some tags and journaling card, could be used for project life as well.

And finally cut some outlines of flowers or any other design from you Silhouette or Cricut and add lace to the back. Here I made flowers three ways and that awesome bird, that I really love!

Here is one of the layouts I did with this kit! It is of my granddaughter, the title "belle fille" means beautiful girl in French.  Be sure to  check back later with other layouts I did with this kit, I am telling you, you have to get this kit, it is gorgeous! I did make some changes to the some of the lace mat embellishments. I added a charm from the kit to the black tags and swapped out the brad for a smaller one, the umbrella I added a tulle ribbon, the flowers I changed the embellishment for silver brads, the envelope I added black cardstock inside to help make it stand it out more on the page, and the flower vase I made whole new one using the same flowers but added, tulle, a metal locker tag, a feather, and leaf stick pins.

Your next stop is at Lisa's Rock Paper Glue blog! She is going to have quite an awesome project for you to see!
