Club Scrap Blog Hop Transformations

Hello, Welcome to the Club Scrap blog hop. You should have came here from Cathy Gray's blog and today I would like to share with you a layout I did this month with Club Scraps new Transformation kit for September.
When I first saw this kit I was drawn to the blues, but when I saw the browns and greens I immediately thought of this photo of my adorable grandson. This was taken Memorial Day and even though he was running around all day, for one moment he rested his head on the fence and I got  this fabulous shot of him looking very tranquil!

I've been wanting to do paper weaving for a long time and I thought this would be a perfect time, kind of gives it a "zen" look to it! The Transformations Embellishment Pack Coconut Shell Buttons were perfect. I cut the strips 12X.30 on the Silouhette. 1/4 of an inch was a little too small.

Club Scrap Glue Pen is perfect to add glue to small spots.(excuse the green masking tape, I used it to help hold my weaving together on the back)

In the corner of the picture I doubled up on the ribbon by placing the ecru ribbon and with the green ribbon over that. Also added the metal embellishment from the kit, some flowers and a feather! I finished the layout with some machine stitching.

Products Used
Petaloo flowers
feather
